Giant Mountain Bikes Are Great For Kids

The technology behind Giant mountain bikes make them one of the best brands in the world. Their models feature heavily in the world class competitions around the world with mountain bikers on every continent using Giant bikes during competition, training and their leisure riding. However Giant design bikes for the most amateur of bikers as well as world class experts. Giant makes bikes for kids who have never ridden, or who use bikes as their mode of transport.

Kids can choose from two ranges of bike made specifically for children. The first are for little ones that have never ridden before and are looking for their first bike. The other range are for kids with a bit more experience who use their bike to get to and from places.

First Bike
First time riders can choose from three bikes depending on how big/old they are. The L’il Giant is a tricycle that comes in blue, red, pink or silver and safety is key. A pole attached to the back of the bike lets parents keep control over where the bike goes and the training wheels help the child to stay balanced. For little girls there is the PUDD’N range which has two bikes for different levels. There is a lovely basket on the front, removable training wheels and 16” wheels to help first time riders with their confidence. The junior version has smaller wheels at 12” and stabilisers. The final model is the Animator range. This is the boy’s version of PUDD’N and is painted in much more masculine colours and the basket has been removed. Again, the Animator bike comes in a Junior and original size to accommodate children of all ages.

Sport Bikes
Once a child has gained more experience on their bike they can move onto the range for older children which consists of the MTX and taffy range. The MTX comes in 125 and 225 versions with the former riding on 20” wheels and having 6 speed gears. The 225 has 18 speed gears and 24” wheels. Both bikes have an Alux aluminium technology frame and suspension fork. Taffy is the female version of the MTX bike. The 125 has smaller wheels and fewer gears than the 225.

Your riding performance will increase with the quality of Giant mountain Bikes. You will like your child using a bike because it keeps them fit and they will have so much fun on them.
